Is Carrd still an option? I had a portfolio there for a hot minute, worked well enough

Get a bunch of pillows and prop yourself up to sleep. Mr Pickles has a head cold and he's sleeping on the couch just so he can stay at an incline and be able to breathe.

FFXIV Elora is unique among my other Eloras. Normally she's kind, helpful, compassionate, etc. With XIV, I thought, "what if she was a huge bitch?" And had so much fun with that.

I'd be a lot more upset if I was still doing art for a living, but still, I had art on there that wasn't backed up. A little bummed about that. Hopefully I can convince it to power on one more time so I can transfer files to my external HD.

The thing is, $2,000 of it is just the ambulance ride. I already got a TON knocked off the ER bill. Bleh.

A guy came into my work to try to pitch his book and busted out four posters that he was SO PROUD to have made using genAI. You should have seen the way my expression completely closed off as I just stopped listening to him.

It is legitimately frightening how many people are jumping to give up having to think for themselves. AI could have really practical uses if it could be restructured and refined, but as it exists now, it's just a circuitboard designed to gobble up existing content and vomit out plagiarism.

"Don't do that" say all of us other artists knowing damn well we do the same thing all the time.

Unfortunately no. They're either all off, or all on. I turned them off a while ago.

Yeah! No one here owns car scrapers or snow shovels, and there's no plows or salt trucks, so we're just gonna have to make do! Thankfully we're well stocked and warm at home.

It’s really easy to fall into despair but you gotta look for the good people who are helping and try to be one of those helping as well. Reading about this helped energize me, knowing that there are people working hard to do the right thing bsky.app/profile/debg...
