I met my wife at a bar 10 years ago today. If you’re able to, I highly recommend meeting your future spouse on Valentine’s Day, then realizing you love each other three days later. Even better if she’s (or he, they, whoever) Mexican. Super fun experience, 100000000/10 stars.

Years ago Fox News did a Halloween segment where a reporter took candy from kids, then told them that’s what taxes are. The kids predictably lost their shit, and the reporter validated them by agreeing taxes are unfair. It never occurred to the reporter he was like the children throwing tantrums.

I can't get over how weak so many capitalists are when the backbone to a lot of their profits -- federal investment and safety nets -- are being gutted. Probably aligns with the death of long term value plays as everything descends into rents and looking for exit liquidity.
