I don't know how it's possible to have both so many ideas and also no idea on what to draw.

If you know me, you know I can be chatty. Despite that, I never think I have anything interesting to say on social media. Today, I literally put out a fire with a fire extinguisher in a building full of people, and I'm like, "Nah, no one wants to hear about that." 🙃

Out of Scale released today! I was part of the wonderful team behind creating this project, working on performance and optimization: youtu.be/nxXVQYW2qTU?...

Newly finalized color variations of Poseidon! #illustration #art #cat

Ohh... I might actually be sending off some stuff to manufactures. Look at me. I'm doin' it. I'm doin' the thing.

I got a progress video scheduled for tomorrow on TikTok. While editing it, I realized that I don't really love most of the final colored versions. INSTANT stress. I've been racing to fix the final illustrations for Instagram. Then I realized. No one cares. Why do I do this to myself?? 😂

We started watching Netflix's bodies. It's great so far. I got OG 'The 4400' vibes.

Artists, I need book recommendations. I'll go first: Manga Matrix by Hiroyoshi Tsukamoto. (It's actually a creatute concept book). I've bought it three times. It's phenomenal at re-thinking your approach to concept, getting you out of a rut, and designing unique creatutes.

How do ya'll pump out so much art? I'm constantly arting it up, and I can not phantom the posting frequency some of you are doing.

Something a little small, witchy, and simple that I drew while I've been constantly sick. #illustration

A former ESL/ELL student messaged me recently. She is going to move abroad and follow her dreams. It difficult for anyone, but it is especially difficult for a woman with a strong career in Japan to drop everything and try. She was the first student I made a strong connection with.

I refuse to be sick during Halloween. Not happening.

I made a Tiktok of the red version of this magical little fox. What do you think? Does it still fit the "primordial soup" style? It my first non-mythos illustration. I'm thinking of loosening up and just drawing whatever instead of being so focused on symbolism. Research is bogging me down.

Can we talk about the *righteous anger* when we bite into what should be a delectable vanilla cream-filled donut, and instead we are met with non-deflating, styrofoam-flavored whip cream? I get that we cover the deception of raisin cookies a lot, but I don't think we give this issue enough time.

Here's all the variations of Danu. Illustrations have been slower because I keep getting sick.

I think I am officially an adult. It takes me 40 minutes to prepare for bed. Ok. I got my compression leggings and gloves on. Did I do my 7 steps of skincare? Oh, shoot, I forgot my gummy vitamins so I got to go re-brush my teeth. A little hair oil, alright. Oh, got to take my probiotics!

It's Halloween month, so that means it's time for spooky moths! I finally finished this revision. All the color variations are on my Instagram. I'll post them all here eventually.

I really need time saving techniques for drawing. It takes me a minimum of 6 hours to complete an illustration. I'm averaging at 15+ hours. I hate squeezing in a few hours here and there through the week to get it done. Everything feels like it takes so long.

Making a repeating pattern in Photoshop would have been easier if I hadn't kept inputting the wrong offset size and deleting necessary layers.

we all know “character layout” as a job was destroyed by amptp but did you know “storyboard artist” has been too? the job we now call story is actually “production board”, a type of board that often erases the planning stage entirely and creates “key frames” for the animation studio to *trace*

I've always wanted to try some martial arts type thing. I'm in my 30s and I'm not getting any younger.

I need more time in the day.

I've been under the weather, so posts stopped across the board. I did manage to get this rough sketch out for a repeating pattern. I am hoping to make it into a square scarf one day.

Autumn has begun!

I love my dog, but god is she needy. Girl, I need SPACE! (ok I secretly love it.)

Alright. I joined TikTok. It's been... surprisingly great.

I am getting too bogged down with trying to find "perfect" music for my making-art clips. A lot of my fav music just doesn't fit the vibe of the videos. There needs to be more instrumental versions of songs released.

Rude.

I think a rottweiler suits Thor. The originally illustration was so different. Do you have a favorite? I think I am partial to dog number 5!

I finished Thor! I revised this illustration so many times. Originally, he was my Odin. He had an eyepatch, a spear, and a hat. It just wasn't feeling right, so here he is - all revised and new.

A kingly orange cat. Iunno how that would go, tbh.

I've always been a fan of mythical creatures with wings located in "unusual" spots. Like the hips, ankles, or head.

Hades fans? Silkie chicken enjoyers? #art #hadesgame A PNG I made for when I stream Hades >:) Jen Zee's style is so iconic.

This is Solin, the barn swallow! He's one of our characters from Birds at Arms that I drew earlier this year. #art #illustration #birds
