This kit (AoZ Gaplant Gigantic Arms) has an insane amount of extra parts! It makes sense since it's like a combo of different kits, but dang, I feel like a Captain Planet should be coming for me. It reminds me of the MG FAZZ, but at least here it's not half color-swaps. #gunpla #plasticwaste

Put together an OK base solution for the gigantic arms AoZ Gaplant using an Action Base 4. Definitely a business-in-the-back situation going on, but at least it feels less crazy than a separate stand for just the shoulders. Time for prep for painting! #gunpla #gundam

Getting back to, um, "normal" gunpla after building ships and diorama pieces. I love the giant arms, but this is definitely a janky kit. Just look at the included stand (and the arms are still droopy). AoZ Gaplant with Gigantic Arm Unit. #gunpla #gundam #AoZ

Rock wall tests. I'm trying different combinations of foam cutting techniques and materials. Plaster and Sculpatmold seem to be the way for good rock textures (top and bottom). Tried just PVA and too many foam bits come through (4th down). Also learned black primer is just too dark! #diorama

Let there be grass! Experimenting with velvet flocking power (didn't know it was a thing until I saw it in a store). Seems to be a decent approximation for really tiny grass, although the color need adjustment. #diorama #gunpla #scalemodeling
