I’m autistic and have a doctorate in molecular biology. Some of my best friends are autistic and struggle to find and hold jobs. Others are somewhere in the middle or above or below and we’re all just humans and valid and important and we deserve to be treated with respect regardless.

No, no they should not. I've gone to a lot of movies in the last year (a little over one a week) and behavior in theaters post-covid is a problem. I'm sure its cute for a kids movie, but you can already see the problems in this story of parents encouraging shit they don't have to deal with. 1/

When Trayvon wore a Howie and people in the media acted like it was legitimate to treat it like gang apparel, the stage was set for this. Tattoos now equal gang affiliation, if worn by the "wrong person." Because the media/*good intentioned people thought it reasonable.
