BRAVO to Maine Governor Janet Mills for slapping petty tyrant trump in the face with her calmly defiant "see you in court." THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE. 🔥🔥🔥

When he declares himself king, he is insulting you—and the nation. You have rights. The government is YOURS. And our loyalty is to the Constitution—the profound and fundamental essence of our nation. Not him. True patriots don’t bow down to kings.

Waiting for the “originalist” judges to pipe up that we used to have a king. 🤮

The root that tears apart your foundation begins as a seed of distrust, hate, and blame. The seed that grew into a dictatorship in Europe didn’t arrive overnight. It started with everyday Germans mad about inflation and looking for someone to blame.

Mike Lawler is supposed to be one of the most "moderate" members of the House GOP. There are no moderate Republicans in Congress anymore. Sadists, cowards, and/or enablers - all of them.

As the NYC Council Finance Chair, I don't see how the mayor can continue leading the city under such chaos and turmoil. Working families are struggling to get by, and nobody can afford a crisis of confidence. Too much at stake. Too much work to do. Mayor Adams must resign.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general. If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

Letters went out to federal workers this morning stating they were fired due to poor performance. However, all employees had been rated as “exceptional” performers by their supervisors. Please keep these records and pursue wrongful termination claims. Let the lawsuits begin.

Another way the dictatorship might kill you. This is from a friend who is a retired air traffic controller.

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too. EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them. Here’s our shareable guide ⬇️: (pt. 1/2)

We won’t disappear just because you change a website.

There are a whole bunch of Senators who could learn a thing or two from Danielle Sassoon about putting the good of the country before their personal ambition.

REPOST if you support our federal workforce and know how dedicated they are to their jobs. Show them you appreciate them!

@bradlander.bsky.social I know you’re friendly with Bobby Carroll, my assemblyman (who seems not to be here but on X?!). Stunned that I just called his office and heard that he hasn’t taken a position on the Eric Adams situation. He can press @govkathyhochul.bsky.social to act!

Eric Adams was a disgrace from day one and now he's sold all of us to the Trump administration—including our most vulnerable neighbors. It's time for @govkathyhochul.bsky.social to fire him. Every minute she waits, she's sacrificing more New Yorkers. ENOUGH.

Dear Leader attacking anyone else’s morality is sick and laughable all at once.

@schumer.senate.gov How will the Department of Education prevent DOGE from using personnel data to target specific employees? #QuestionsForLinda

Whether it's Hillary Clinton sharing risotto tips on a private email server or Elon Musk giving full access to all government information to a nineteen-year old named Big Balls with ties to a child pornography collective known for its extortion techniques, both sides have played loose with security.

Absolutely not stunned that @mayor.nyc.gov, who reveled in his toxic “swagger,” sold out his city. I think that under his austerity plan we’ll need to cut his position.

It is important not to amplify fear and panic that hurts people. But as an industry and sector of civil society, higher ed should be resolute: one student (or staff member or faculty or anyone who belongs to the community) being arrested, detained, or deported IS TOO MANY.

Oh

Hey, @nytimes.com, the correct term is “illegal.” Other correct phrases include “break the law,” “violate the constitution,” or “unconstitutional and un-American.”

We visited you today, @schumer.senate.gov as well as Senator Gillibrand. Hope you paid attention!
