I always think about The Master and Margarita and how when you read The Master's novel, it's genuinely an absolutely incredible bit of writing that would be a masterpiece entirely on its own. Just the ultimate flex, putting a greatest-ever short story in your novel as your protagonist's work.

PAST LIVES: 5/5⭐️ I knew this movie would absolutely destroy my heart and it was everything I thought and more. The dialogue is so rich and the framing of the actors and shots was just phenomenal, you could see the story with stills I swear. The music was moving, I cried ugly tears. So freaking good
