Here's a nugget: He can't stand not to be thought about. Fight every unlawful act mightily. Buttress the law. Never for a minute acknowledge him in any way, form, or thought. Never. May the whisper of his name bring lasting shame.

The most probable outcome of the current state of affairs is competitive authoritarianism: democratic institutions will be hollowed out, elections held but systematically rigged, civil liberties curtailed, state machinery weaponized against opponents. The formal trappings of democracy will remain.
