Dutton’s plan to break up insurers is a populist stunt that ignores the real issue—climate risk. Insurance costs are soaring, driven by worsening climate disasters. Without investment in mitigation and adaptation they’ll keep rising. Visit zalisteggall.com.au/media_releases to read my statement.

My fellow PhD-er at UC is looking for speakers of languages other than English in Australia for her research. Help her out and spread the word 🙏🏼

I found Tremendous Fraud and Abuse says felon who has been convicted of Tremendous Fraud and Sexual Abuse.

happy first birthday to Bluesky, and what a year it's been! with every day, the need for an open network that puts people first becomes increasingly clear. we're glad to be building this with you. after all, the heart of a social network is the people.

Peter Dutton who slugged taxpayers so that his office mates can party with him at multibillionaire Gina Rinehart’s birthday party, wants to talk about govt waste 🤦‍♂️Best thing he could do to reduce waste right now is resign.

She did nothing wrong by sharing the HRW post & appears to have been targeted by ABC Mgmt to appease a particular group (or bc of ABC Mgmt's own racism). ABC Mgmt is not upholding the ABC's own charter. 😔 #auspol #journalism

When people like Dutton talk about “cultural diversity” or DEI jobs they’re essentially just denigrating non-white people. It’s straight racism and journalists need to call it out. www.theage.com.au/politics/fed...

My friend, Thomas Mayo, is in da house, and has joined Bluesky. A great one to follow.

I am not going to check because of course the line up of politicians to decry this will be long and loud. Right? 7news.com.au/news/iqra-co...

The latest greenhouse gas emissions figures show Australia emits more gas now than when the government was elected. But the govt wants us to believe we are "on target" to achieve 43% cuts below 2005 levels by 2030. Enough with the spin: we need to stop approving new coal & gas mines *now*.
