I think this is one of the most important scenes in all of Cinema. It's 'Show don't Tell' approach is genius. A boy looking at the sunset, wanting to move beyond just being a simple farm boy. I genuinely wish I took a film course.

Hard to believe that A View To A Kill is just about 40 now (40 in just over 2 days from now) I dunno many people who actually enjoyed the film as much as I did. Sure Roger Moore is almost 60 in this but he still played James Bond so well. Here's to the 40th of AVTAK. I have to rewatch it soonish.

So I began reading Thunderball, oh my good god is it so BORING. I've only got to Chapter 3 but that was a slog. Why is going to a spa so long winded and overly pointless to the story? Bond does practically zilch at the start besides get told to smoke and drink less, too many free radicals. Yikes.

Holy shit Nightfire is so good, Bond's quips in the ski bit reminds me of the Moore era, like in the Gondola Chase in Moonraker. Or even The World is Not Enough in the Brosnan run with the river thames chase. So much fun lol
