When I was out walking around with a friend Sunday we found this lawn chair that they brought out of the lake. It is covered in invasive zebra mussels that have taken over a large part of the area around here. They came in the ballast water of a boat from the black sea and have no predators here.

Today would have been moms 76th birthday. I miss you mom. Love you to the moon and back. The photo is from her trip to New Orleans for the Sweet Adeline's international singing competition. They won regionals that year and went to the finals. She was the head choreographer for the chorus.
