BTW, the last Pride I took part in, I handed these out free. I bought mixed pony beads and made as many flags as I could in varied styles. I ran out of nicer cord but I guess no one cared, because I gave out a LOT. The less-common ones esp disappeared fast: ace, pan, bi, NB...

I'm going to be taking June off from social media. The only associations I have with Pride are of watching my local "community," with the trans org in the lead, gleefully and savagely help the court system destroy the physical & mental health of a disabled trans woman who was later acquitted. 1/4

Very frustrating. Kobo was the alternative to Amazon I was recommending for ebooks. They had a good range, seemed to care more about sustainability, very importantly were not using GenAI… Can we please show these companies that going GenAI is a mistake? Send your feedback in to them, cancel subs.

Reminder: When a herd of reindeer is threatened, the herd runs fast in a "cyclone" to confuse predators, keeping the most vulnerable in the center. The whole herd survives. Trying to save "most" of the herd lets predators pick off the herd, most vulnerable first, until there's no herd left. 1/
