Saw Vertigo last night, and while I could heap a lot of praise on the direction, camera work, acting, etc, my top reaction is WOW what a score from Bernard Herrmann. Just can’t imagine the movie having the impact it does without it.

Saw True Romance at a Musci Box midnight showing… I saw it on whatever cable outlet it came out on in the 90s - or maybe a roommate had rented it, I can’t remember, but it’s so great in the theatre. The part of Elliot was made for Bronson Pinchot. Such perfect casting.
