New Ultra Queue! Leo continues to keep us well fed and also rapidly escalates its intensity as we question the moral character of our legacy hero turned mentor with his latest Jeep-based training regiment schemes shows.acast.com/66195964fe0f...

Goldran (and the following show, Dagwon) is one I heard nothing about. So, here's me trying to be surprised somehow. Comparison to J-Decker is not doing it a lot of favors. First impression makes it feel like Da-Garn.

Dan in Leo be like:

New Ultra Queue! We've begun Ultraman Leo and let me tell you the show starts off with a real bang and a promising premise We're really excited to watch the rest of the show! Let's hope it can deliver in spite of behind the scenes issues shows.acast.com/66195964fe0f...

I still don't truly understand where you're standing, Trillion Game...

We recorded the first Leo pod, look forward to it this week

Roses are red We live on Earth

New to me, a #manga illustration by Osamu Tezuka revealing how he felt when #kaiju took over the TV airwaves in #Japan in the 1960s, knocking his early #anime series like Wonder 3 off the air.

when you're out of the house but think up a good post

Now this is It. The "Crime of the Week" format gave J-decker a lot of room to keep things interesting with hardly any thematic repeats, asides from the overarching theme about what a Soul is. There's more effort to make everyone into a proper character, and this pays off quite well. A favorite!

J-Decker having the most direct and extreme Ultraman/Ultraseven references after having an entire show with That Feel. Alien Baltan laugh and Alien Metron look... Incredible.

Model: King Joe Debut: Ultraseven Year: 1968 Designer: Tohl Narita

Creature

When the robots get more characterization, it makes the new combination events much more impactful.

Shadowmaru, McCrane, Power Joe and Dumpson are saying no to Ultraman.

Not all Allies Of Justice are Ultras, ma'am.

New Ultra Queue! On this penultimate batch of Taro, we get the most ridiculous Taro-core episodes yet Next week is the finale, so be sure to send in e-mails and kaiju rankings! shows.acast.com/66195964fe0f...

The universal truth for all Brave shows.

they go all out for the stupidest shit in this show I swear

Finished Might Gaine. The fact that the True Villain is a "3D being" that is only playing a game for fun with 2D beings is a fun meta wink. Considering Might Gaine aired the year Sunrise was sold out to Bandai without the staff's knowledge, the villain's final words... "So I was also a pawn..."

Of course the TRAINS! show gets an ultimate attack that's just TRAINS!

Kenteeky Friea Chicken...?

And while Might Gaine's Locomorizer is damaged, Maito gets a brand new giant robot to play with.

I'm Sorry - Gator Days

We sure had a lot of stories like this in the 90s.

Enter: Battle Bomber! Quite the extra entrance as they save Might Gaine.

a friendly ratty reminder! #art #comics #webcomics

HE WASN'T VERY GOOD BUT WE MADE ALLOWANCES BECAUSE IT WAS THE POLITE THING TO DO

Ultraman Taro's episode 50 was specially fun. www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1XD...

CURE WONDERFUL: They'll never catch us if I turn into a tire. CURE NYAMMY : komugi, your KIRA KIRA FOX is so fucking stupid. I fucking hate you so much stop using it.

Might Gaine innovating: cool Shadow the Hedgehog rival.

100%'d Dragon Quest Builders. Playing the games out of order did it no favors. But it's still a fun building-through-objectives game. The strongest aspect remains that the premise branches out from the choice near the end of DQ1 to accept the Dragonlord's deal. When the Hero fails, the Builder rises

A series of watercolours, based off my past rats! (part 1/2) From top -> bottom L->R: Mocha, Bean, Piper, Cookie PS: I have stickers of these in my shop! 🐀 ko-fi.com/s/ec9d73bd74 🌸 #rats #art

Of all Might Gaine episodes to do a stage on SRW, I now understand why they picked this one.
