About to treat myself to a couple of new t-shirts via @teepublic.bsky.social only to discover the ones I've chosen can't be printed/shipping from the UK for some odd reason. Naturally this sent the postage skyrocketing. Hard pass sadly.

Session 1 of Call of the Netherdeep in the books and the players are all extremely intrigued/excited to learn more! Maybe I'm ok at this DM'ing thing after all.

Had a play around with the Foundry Dragonbane module tonight with a few others. Slightly confusing layout and character creation is a bit of a chore but it looks good! Now I just need to learn how to play/run it.

Gearing up to run Call of the Netherdeep for the second time. Excited to apply what I learned from the first pass and improve the adventure for my players!

Got something fun in the post. Let's see if I can learn a new system.

Slow, slow embroidery process on the Lady of Pain. I think I've redone all the blades at least once at this point now 😅

Welp, seems like the doctors don't care about the myriad of other symptoms and issues plauging me and still just point out that I'm fat. No further help is being offered. Actually in tears here feelign completely unsure what to do next. *void scream*

Draft letter citing a complaint written, first draft was rather sarcastic though so had to edit it. Someone said I can't sign off with the line: 'Hopefully this letter finds you before I do'

I'll be the first to admit my weight (and by extension BMI) is an issue but that doesn't explain energy crashes, slurred speech and never ending fatigue. Then again I'm not a trained clinician so I don't know how my body works.

Got an email/letter from my GP. First contact I've had with them since the end of January discussing a blood test. Decided that all my issues are likely because my BMI is too high and my CPAP machine is set incorrectly. Yeah I know what GP stands for - Gaslight Patients.

Thinking about ideas for a longer Storm King's Thunder campaign and I simply can't settle on a BBEG to work things around. Lots of options though.

I have this thing and I never use it. Then again I don't like just talking about how miserable I am due to being sick. He says whilst vaguely talking about how sick he is 😆

After almost 4 years of feeling utterly awful I finally know what's currently wrong with me and yeah you guessed it - the GP won't help beyond 'lose some weight and eat these anti-depressants!'. One track mind that lot. Even the results say refer to Endocrinology and they haven't even done that!

I did it! I finished Call of the Netherdeep in exactly 1 year! That was a fun campaign to run and I learned a lot about DM'ing. Had a great time and a great bunch of players too! :)

I think I did it! A surprise BBEG encounter had me on the back foot slightly but bar a session or two of wrap up in about to finish my first hardback campaign of D&D 😃

Down to just running 2 games of D&D 5th and both of those are coming to a close soon as well. Perhaps time to start planning for next year? 🤔

My players drew on the moon. No notes.

@katvalkyrie.bsky.social Just thought I'd give you a shout out and some props for all the Call of the Netherdeep maps that have saved my bacon more than once in the last few weeks! Amazing work keeps wowing my players! Last few sessions now and looking forward to the BBEG!
