Art is so hard Here's an in-progress shot for one of my current projects. We just watched Princess Mononoke, so of course I had to redraw a shot with my and @oldmannobly.bsky.social's OCs. Finished piece to come in a day or so, I hope

It's gonna be the coolest kid's book ever probably😎

Conservatives on reddit firmly believe the website was ruined by the left, and I think it really goes to show you how hateful they wish they could be.

The same people(conservatives) who think Reddit's downvote button is censorship are thrilled about the addition of a dislike button to Instagram and I really can't wrap my head around the dissonance required to tout both of those beliefs together so strongly.

IDK what to tell you guys, the magic eight ball said 'it is certain" so now I gotta be president

I'm going to Spain :3

Stop forgiving my crimes!!! I worked so hard on those!!! :(

Being artsy is hard right now. I did an eye and that's it today🙃😅

I hope Kendrick Lamar is having the BEST day. 👏🏾Gmorning. ☀️

PSA; In case your science teacher never told you, while polls are very helpful research tools, they're also very easily skewed. Always ask yourself what the person taking the poll wants to say, because there's always a risk of someone's finger resting on the scale.

Good morning. I hope everyone is able to find some sort of reprieve today.

Mother jones actually broke this story. The Washington Post failed to mention that, and in fact, took credit for the scoop.

Grow a pair and gently push past him. He's a private security guard. Most COPS will back off if you just continue to move forward. You may have to get arrested, sure. You can afford an attorney. Do your job and protect the people who elected you.

Tesla vehicles are death traps. If you want to go electric, there are options that are not only actually sustainable but will also not burst into flames with you inside.

If Jesus were alive today, he would be everything the current administration is afraid of.

I'm so sick of seeing people saying we can't react to every little thing happening. Sure, I can't fight every battle, but every battle needs to be fought. Nothing should slip through the cracks here.

"How am I supposed to keep going like everything is normal?" Great question. DON'T. You don't have to pretend life is normal. The world is on fire and hackers are running around our government buildings stealing our data. It's not normal and you shouldn't have to pretend it is.

Three shots so far btw

Bronze memorial to UK's Land Girls by sculptor Denise Dutton, unveiled at National Memorial Arboretum, Staffs, honouring women argricultural workers & also the Lumber Jills of WW2 #WomensArt

We've been doing this thing where we take a shot for every five pieces of bad news we stumble across. I have a feeling I'll be a little more than buzzed today.

Don't forget that they broke the rules first. The law functions the way it does for a reason, yes, but when someone is operating with no regard for law or decorum you're allowed to leave them behind too. Especially if those laws prevent you from reacting quickly in a time of crisis.

Nut allergy aside, baklava is so good

I know all of us who understand what is happening are experiencing mental health challenges because of that. The only message of comfort I can offer to this community of readers is this: you are correct. What you think is happening is really happening, and is just as concerning as you think it is.

Found out that TWENTY emails is considered a lot to politicians on an issue. TWENTY. As in, they call that getting slammed. So next time you see a request to email your rep, or call, keep that in mind. TWENTY is a lot.

"My drugs are better than your drugs. Your drugs are icky."

gender is a scam invented by bathroom companies to sell more bathrooms

So many people hesitate when going to dial 911. For a lot of reasons. The law getting in the way of healthcare is a huge facet, especially for women and people of color. It's so dangerous that we can't trust our own emergency services because of a litigation risk on top of everything else.

Republicans on Reddit think the upvote/downvote system is somehow undemocratic? Like, they're calling getting down voted being silenced and censored. When presented with actual proof that their ideas are unpopular they still manage to delude themselves.

More people should experience the joy of traveling by train

We are members of Congress at the Treasury Department. We want to be let in to provide oversight on behalf of our constituents. @jasmineforus.bsky.social @sethmagaziner.bsky.social

i want gayer games with gayer graphics made by the gayest people and i'm not joking

This is probably not a surprise to people in the disability community, and I apologize for my ignorance about it, but I have been genuinely surprised how much immediate government wrath is going towards people in the disability community

America feels like it's become the world's largest escape room, but the clock hit zero and just kept going into the negatives

The same goes for Sam's club and BJ's if you already shop at these places. Both have removed all DEI information from their websites. Costco is standing it's ground and we need to support that over the corporations just rolling over.

If you have a library card you can register with Libby to access ebooks and audio books, all for free. You don't have to pay for a book you're going to read once, don't let consumerism tell you that you need a full shelf to be a good reader.

When you become aware of everything that's owned by Amazon, it's like realizing there's a web spun all around you. It's more places than you would think, and it's intentionally very difficult to entirely remove yourself.

One thing I won't ding members of Congress for: they are not all heroic Hollywood orators ready to drop a Sorkin monologue at the drop of a hat while the orchestra swells to a cinematic climax. Cut them some slack for on-camera performance, they're mostly a bunch of awkward nerds and that's fine.

These are the clowns Congress refuses to stop.
