So now begins the long litany of people coming down with strange vision problems “that have nothing to do with the solar eclipse!!” Just like the people who came down with the worst chest cold “that totally wasn’t Covid!!” These two groups will have a lot of members in common…

My first take on all the precautions and warnings about next weeks solar eclipse is that it’s overkill and unnecessary. Then I look around me and see what has become the norm in our society and I fear that it’s simply not enough. We are a society of fools. I weep for what we’ve become.
