A shout-out to George Lucas! Since May 25, 1977 he has been trying to warn us how democracy can die…currently, it’s dying to “thunderous applause” of the GOP - which I have taken upon myself to rename to Gumps of Putin. Gump is from the Merriam-Webster definition, not Tarentino’s (Pulp Fiction) 😜

Dear Dem Lawmakers, Please take Jon Stewart’s suggestion and do an Instagram post each evening dissecting the Trump Admin’s actions that day w/the consequences to all citizens. Add what Dems will do in response, if possible, but also what you will do differently in the future. Consistent messaging!

Feeling particularly petty today so I decided that GOP now stands for “Gumps Of Putin”. Since the co-opted and deranged both Woke and DEI, two can play that game 😝 For posterity, I’m using the Merriam-Webster definition of Gump (also spelled Gumph): foolish or dull-witted person. Yup, petty!

Was watching the Lego Star Wars “Freemakers Adventures” on Fandango with my kiddo & this clip had me laughing thinking about ‘Trumpala The Hutt’ and his plans for Gaza. I needed a bit o’ levity in the continuous onslaught of shite from this new admin - I’m exhausted already but won’t give up!

Just as so many Trump voters who are now having voter’s remorse (after less than a month!), the millions who didn’t vote have just as much responsibility for the result. Trump’s win was by 1.5%. The dems who came out for Biden but didn’t this time should be ashamed & shouldn’t complain.

Mass guy living in LA here. I have one sports rule for my young LA-born son while he lives under my roof - he may like and even be a fan of any LA sports team EXCEPT the Lakers! I’ve been quite content with the C’s being reigning Champs & the Lakers being whatevs - now they get 25yo f’ing Luka!!
