It's fascinating that you can not only have a different gender ID than your ASAB, but a different sex phenotype ID from your gender ID. I wonder whether sex dysphoric enbies are to binary trans people what non-dysphoric enbies are to cis people, or if these are separate phenomena altogether.

Compute is a bottleneck for AI training. American communities could try to block data centers from being built, perhaps with NEPA (the devil's tool, I know). Europe might be able to use export controls to drive up prices and slow things down. ASML, in particular, has a monopoly on EUV machines.

Part of why tech didn't collaborate to the same degree during the first Trump administration was worker power by tech workers, who tend to be very left-leaning compared to even most Democrats. Tech bosses are betting on AI reducing worker power, and so far, it has been doing so. /1
