I like to study ancient toilets, privies, and fecal deposits. You can't lie in your poops! Not interested in romance, because straight men killed it for me.

#Ratings matter to this regeime. Turn your dial to the things that need your support. #NAACP #Image even on mute. Skew the ratings.

I have every computer and TV in the house tuned to the NAACP awards. Show your support #DEI #ratings #NAACP #resistance #ClassWar #Support #BLM #FightWithMoney

A face peers out from the hilt of a wooden weaver's sword. This artefact is believed to date to the 11th century, and it was discovered during archaeological excavations at the former Beamish and Crawford brewery site in Cork City. ##SpéirGhorm #Archaeology 🏺

Flip the script. DEI means we hire the best of the best. It will strip power from the anti-DEI focus. DEI means we hire the best of the best. It means you can't cheat in order to push a #classwar. It was never about a #culturewar @jojofromjerz.bsky.social @adamkinzinger.bsky.social @aoc.bsky.social

Lecture today on spinning in literature. We read selections from Homer, Herodotus, Xenophon, Erinna, Theocritus, and the Batrachomyomachia. Spinning is strongly associated with women throughout, but has different connotations in the hands of elite women, free women, and enslaved women.

I really like this. It says what I want to say.

A ca. 4,500-year-old seed bag from #Egypt, made from reed-grass. It's still in fantastic condition due to the arid desert climate. On display at Neues Museum Berlin. 📷 taken by me 🏺 AncientEgyptBluesky

For #EpigraphyTuesday we're getting to know #Roman handwriting in late antiquity, the #uncial #script that we tend to associate with Irish #manuscripts but which was widespread, with regional variations, across the empire and #Europe, until about 900 CE. #ClassicsBluesky 🏺
