Pyra realized she was trans (and thus gay) in her early/mid teens, before she ever left her homeland for Eorzea! she got her hands on some fantasia when she was ~20-21, and eventually (post SHB) got a good enough grasp on aetherial manipulation & anatomy to do temporary manual genderswapping 🫶
