It’s not just that we will be caught off guard, they won’t even be collecting data.

Try to stay aware of what they want you to be unaware of.

USAID has proven to be an easy political target and yet the nature of its work is inherently apolitical. Malaria and HIV programs, infectious disease surveillance, maternal health initiatives, all proven to save scores of lives. We may not feel the impact of its closure, but our children will.

The policy lead for CDC's H5N1 response has abruptly resigned. Sources tell me CDC's response to the bird flu pandemic has been severely hobbled by the chaos of the past two weeks.

It's obscene.

The Papua New Guinea Courier is in rare form.

Most people never hear the "corrected" story. If it even gets out there.

Haven't heard anything about this, but with all the DEI cuts, does that mean that research which incorporates female subjects in their studies will now be unfunded? Are we going back to the era of only men in scientific trials? This is the kind of thing that nobody looks into for years, typically. 🤬

We are members of Congress at the Treasury Department. We want to be let in to provide oversight on behalf of our constituents. @jasmineforus.bsky.social @sethmagaziner.bsky.social

Deservedly so...

These are the good guys supporting DEI. Reward them with your business. Costco Meijer Kroger Giant Grocery Ben & Jerry’s Ulta, Macy’s Old Navy Nordstrom’s TJ Maxx GoTo Foods ( Moe’s Southwest Grill, Mcalister’s, Auntie Anne’s, Jamba, Cinnabon…) Dollar Tree Walgreens Wegmans

Leave it alone.

The artist, David Cohen is an Asheville-based artist/musician and resident of over forty years. His cartoon work spans various subjects ranging from local issues based in Asheville to more national political events and even to one-off, word-play-oriented jokes. ❤️ Give credit to artists when you can.

Chilling.

He is destroying the government. He is trashing all safety nets, all research, all systems that allow citizens to be alerted to impending threats. This is exactly what they said they'd do. When will Democrats admit that and start speaking out? And start 𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 out?

This is a better angle than previous photos. It reveals the full glee of a segment of those who support the Nazi ideal. In technicolor. May they live to regret this photo.

Wow. They've thought of everything. I guess we knew it was coming.

Sowing fear. That's their plan.

Of course ending birthright citizenship is blatantly unconstitutional. So is a third term in office. But I thought the same thing about presidential criminal immunity and holding office after inciting an insurrection. The obvious is not so obvious anymore.

Ever since Muskrat’s comment about “it’s gonna hurt a little”, all I could think of was Mao’s Great Leap Forward. "Mao was quoted as saying in Shanghai "When there is not enough to eat people starve to death. It is better to let half of the people die so that the other half can eat their fill."”

YES! It is time for ALL Democrats to speak up.

Amazon, Meta, and Google donated millions to Trump's inauguration. Why? Collectively they'll gain an annual tax cut worth $7.4 billion if Trump lowers the corporate tax rate. They're also facing major antitrust lawsuits for abusing their market power. Always follow the money.

The halting of communications and research by our most knowledgeable scientists in their respective fields is truly frightening.

This is the start. Soon we won’t even have proof that everything has been manipulated.
