This is a higher level of owning up than I've ever achieved. A+ example of a solid apology: states an apology is owed to someone, explains what writer did wrong w/o victim blaming, apologies, credits support, elaborates on what they did wrong for clarity, accepts responsibility, fits in 1 skeet.

this is cute but these treats are usually whipped cream or similar and dogs are lactose intolerant if you give your dog cheese/ice cream and then they have terrible farts and bad poops, that's 100% on you. you chose that for them.

i looked it up to see what this person found and is responding to. wikipedia represents it as directed and intentional troll behavior. i always interpreted "shitposting" as just posting garbage/nonsense/memes just to screw around, not "designed to derail discussions or cause the biggest reaction"
