After taking some time to think about it, I have my pitch for what Dragon Age IV should have been: a story of a civil war between the elven gods of old that threatens the whole world, and the lengths the desperate heroes of Thedas must go to in order to stop it. The title? Dragon Age: Dread Wolves.

Well this feels really relevant in light of the Bloomberg piece.

I do some sort of love the idea that Darth Vader is the Star Wars equivalent of Dwight Schrute: largely mocked by his coworkers for his delusions with occasional glimpses of violent competence in all the wrong skillsets.

You have no obligation to defend or explain the behavior of random street protesters. We have a lawless government that is flagrantly violating its legal, moral, even philosophical obligations to us. Everything else is secondary

the "where are all the protests against trump" people became the "these protests against trump are bad optics" people so quickly you may have missed it

I knew the whole thing operated on the honor system, I guess I just thought more people had any honor.

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.

Childhood disease before vaccination is why we don't have a word for a parent who's buried a child. An orphan is defined by lack of parents, a widow by lack of husband, but before vaccines, almost every adult of childbearing age had buried at least one baby, if not more.

full house sequel show "fullest house" where the house is full of secret rooms and maze like passageways with a ton of heretofore unseen uncles and there are also "false uncles" and secret rare uncles only spoken of in whisper and a colony of golden labs and just loose beach boys roaming around

the decision to "be safe" is no longer yours to make. the state has decided to make us unsafe. but you can make informed choices, take calculated risks, and you can decide to be powerful.

*holding your head underwater* sad to see that you would end our friendship over a simple disagreement over whether or not I should be allowed to drown you
