Scarlet Macaw (Aro macao) These 'flying rainbows' inhabited 85% of Costa Rica. Today, only two flocks remain, but, thanks to preservation, education, breeding/reintroduction programs, these flocks are growing. In '94 there were ±400 birds, in '23, ±1600. #bird #wildlifephotography #photography
