Brave to @jeffstein.bsky.social, WaPo's chief economics correspondent, for not wasting any time in stating what must be stated. Hopefully the first of many.

This is beyond terrifying. I mean everything is of course, but this is in a whole new way. We are going to be cut off from any other realities except their death cult and it is happening fast. www.nbcnews.com/media/jeff-b...

Extremely stoked to be organizing this conference highlighting philosophy done from queer perspectives at UC Santa Cruz this April! Especially glad to still have this happen given, you know... everything. Registration here, with a remote option: forms.gle/bhPt4xQ2jR5q...

I'm surprised I haven't thought about this before, but I wonder how RFK's hatred of autistic people and his use of the threat of autism as a public health messaging weapon is going to end up mixing with the inspiration pornification of Musk's autism

We need to spend more time on the fact that Vance made the Minister of Finance of Norway and Chair of the Munich Security Conference burst into public tears of despair.

I wrote a review of Elizabeth Barnes's fascinating book *Health Problems* for Phil Review. Free access here! drive.google.com/file/d/1tavs...

I'm experimenting with promoting myself as a public speaker and writer! If you might be interested in what I have to say, see here and contact me! This time with new better link. Also please share! www.quillrkukla.xyz/speaking-and...

I published a review of Agnes Callard's new book in the Washington Post today! www.washingtonpost.com/books/2025/0...

Oh hey! My book is already on Amazon, I did not know! Look how pretty! If you are a person who still uses Amazon, will you please consider pre-ordering? It's cheap, and it really helps with the algorithm and with my ability to promote the book. I hate to push my own stuff but I would be so grateful!

Do y'all remember how March 2020 felt just impossibly long, a lifetime, breaking all the rules of time? Friends, it is still Trump's first week back in office. Less than 6 full days in.

This is my third stay at LUH and I love my time there so much. Fantastic, smart, kind people and always tons going on. I'm so excited to be doing this!

Just spent another proud day managing to be autistic without uncontrollably performing Nazi salutes

That’s it - I’ve seen the dumbest commercial - Air Canada where the girl is sad that her backyard rink is melted SO SHE GETS ON AN AIRPLANE to fly somewhere for a magic potion to freeze the ice and you know what would actually help preserve backyard ice?! 📉

Professor Bernard Harcourt explains how "Broken Windows Theory" ended up serving as the intellectual foundation for outrageously harmful practices like stop and frisk. www.currentaffairs.org/news/why-the...

Cover finalized; forthcoming in a few months!

I mean this is an odd take in the midst of Luigimania on the left. (Which I am neither critiquing nor defending, I just hate double standards and hypocrisy.)

Taiwo does Nietzschean existentialism for the Teen Vogue crowd. Doing over being; existence over essence ✊🏻✊🏿✊🏽

ICYMI: Medicare plans to stop covering telehealth visits starting next month. Telehealth is oftentimes the only way chronically ill, disabled, and elderly folks can access care. Please sign below to tell Medicare to keep covering telehealth services. #chronicillness #mecfs #neisvoid

It's so interesting how random cultural norms evolve. Since 2020 it's developed into a solid norm that at the end of a zoom meeting there's an intense, highly competitive race to sign off. If you're last one out or don't beat the host you feel like a total loser. Why? Who knows, but it's a thing now

Can you imagine how maximally embarrassing it must be to be 54 years old and be pardoned by your daddy

There are several folks who have blocked me who have the same cover photo as me. What's up with that? Smells fishy but I can't figure out what the scam would be. And what do I do about it? I can't go check out their profile or block them, because I'm blocked, that's the whole point.
