Found a couple chocolate print fabrics which inspired me to create a #Hershey's themed quilt for my bedroom. I needed a third pattern..... Reese's PB ghosts!!! Picked up two fabrics yesterday at clearance prices, and the Reese's has to be ordered online. The binding should be chocolate sprinkles.

What an incredible episode of #DoctorWho "Lux" was! Extra special effects, creepy AF villain, and tons of heart. And bonus #LinusRoache co-starring. He did a spectacular job. If you are new to Who, this episode, while being a part of an ongoing villain arc, can standalone and be understood.

Made great progress today! Figured out a few #quilting rulers, cut things better with the smaller rotary blades, did half-decent sewing on Canary (my machine), created and pressed quarter inch seams, and nothing needed to be redone. I have to say I do not like dealing with these little pieces!

I didn't do great (or even good) at my Quilting 101 class on Sat. Teacher (a pal) actually hugged me as a cried packing up an hour early because I hit my frustration limit. When I go back to the store on Wednesday for Open Sew, I wish I had this tee. Hey, I tried!! I continue on!

Reminder that there is SO MANY #scam plant #seeds and #bulbs being sold online, especially on fugging Amazon. Yeah, the teddy bear sunflowers exist, but not in blue!! Some of the flowers don't even exist in nature at all. Buy from known growers with websites that have been around for awhile. #fraud

The blacks are already really blackening in my goth garden this year. I MAY have two black Asiatic Lillies coming up. I bought three last year, but one bulb (I named Judas) turned out to be pink. The other two dared not show their faces. We shall see how loyal they are to the aesthetic in 2025!

Practiced rotary cutting skills yesterday in the first step to making this bag happen. Learned what interfacing is. Learned I won't need a zigzag stitch for awhile. Next week is practicing cutting & sewing squares for a Beginners class on Saturday to pick up basic skills and info. Sewing journey!
