I don't know who needs to hear this but in the Sonic Boom Six's song Sound Of A Revolution (banging song, btw) they sing the line "Put the colour in his life like manga cartoons" and it irks me that they say manga (traditionally b&w) instead of anime (which is what I think they mean).
