More Yeadon Tarn goodness. Nature is brilliant

Mazza top got its first outing. Pissed about reliving my medical tent scenario with an abandoned chair. Only very old running mates can take the piss out of you all night. I had forgotten how much i enjoy my MAMIL company. I am laughing so much more these days

Gorgeous sunset run at Yeadon Tarn (Am trying to be better and do alt text but the post crashed twice when have done it )

Yeah yeah. I *did* get to work realising I'd driven like this in rejuvenating patches. #stayclassy

This week’s tiny/small bouquet. Brought to you by red dogwood, bleeding hearts, spice viburnum, grape hyacinth, and catmint greens. Spring in New England 🌸🪻🌺

Feels like Marathon Boxing Boxing Boxing Day More gifts from friends and one from their dog walker, who you've only met for 2 minutes . Any excuse for a nosecco and a medal show. People have been ridiculously kind. I feel very very lucky to have such lovely people in my life.

Ffs. My feed is filling up with men in their undercrackers again. Men doing normal household things but just in undies. No. No.No.No.NO. Never wanted, never asked for I'll just have to sign up for another marathon and hope the algorithm just gives me masochistic running folks to view again instead

Guys do you know there's a little plus sign at the bottom of the post writing window that allows you to write a full thread before posting?

I wrote this bonus, alt-text version but then I forgot to put it in ☹️ Here it is anyway William Carlos Williams voice I have tested the samples that were in the lab and which you were probably planning to analyse Forgive me they were intriguing so significant and so quantifiable

Home to thoughtful gifts.Friend is abroad but wrapped the card+lego for when i got home.Erin dropped stuff off too.Marvelling over cape from Clair. Not used to being looked after+ supported.People are so kind I DID IT.I didn't break when somone tried v hard to break me last yr My journey is complete❤️

Train journey home Might take the medal off tonight Might not.

Pre race was fun though Management team Race Manager and Psychological Support. Thoughts and prayers for Race Manager, he's got blisters from tambouring all day.

It's been a shocker of a day Ended up in medical, not sure how I got there. Don't remember much from 7 until then. But somehow found something and ran/ walked from med tent at 18 miles In some ways its the marathon that i am most proud of. There was NO WAY I was going to be a DNF.

"Do you even own a black suit?"

Getting the band back together It's been 5 years at least ( artistic differences and all that 😃) AND weve signed up for more gigs . An absolute joy and a blessing for my last training run before the big one. #londonmarathonwanker #MAMILSREUNITED

This is The Guest House, by Rumi. I heard it today, and love it, especially the line about a ‘crowd of sorrows’ - what an image.
