New Pharaoh's tomb just dropped. The tomb of King Thutmose II has been uncovered, Egyptian officials announced on Tuesday, marking the first discovery of a royal resting place since King Tutankhamun’s was unearthed in 1922.

Timothy Snyder is an expert of modern authoritarianism.

“the United States is not a startup. The federal government exists to do all of the things that are definitionally not profitable, that serve the public good rather than protect investor profits. (The vast majority of startups also fail, something the United States cannot afford to do.)”

We cannot confuse our allies for our adversaries. We must be clear-eyed about this. We must stand with the people of Ukraine against the barbarism of Vladimir Putin.

One of several excellent points: "... Or think about the role those despised immigrants and refugees play in keeping the American economy running, providing care for Americans, breathing new life into the American heartland. @govpritzker.illinois.gov is using his "state of the state" speech today to bring the fight straight to Trump/Musk/MAGA. "My oath is to the Constitution of our state and of our country. We don’t have kings in America – and I don’t intend to bend the knee to one."

The resistance will bring down Musk and Trump. Congress, wake up before your power is gone. The GOP begging Trump to release money to their states is pathetic—stand up to this tyranny. Congress controls the purse strings.

A useful metric. www.project2025.observer

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful. They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone. Don't fall for it.

"In the early days of World War II, the entire Western civilization was at risk. So it does give you perspective to look at history.. They lived with the same anxiety we feel, and somehow we came through.. We have to believe, because we’ve got to act to make it better." deadline.com/2025/02/dori...

This is an actual violation of the first amendment. The government cannot dictate what is correct speech.
