Really shit day today, had all the news from earlier, my 3d printer caught fire. I got stiffed on a contract, but y'know what? We got this. We've all got this. Had to destress a little so here's a little robot car I made. I hope you all are having a good day.

Unfortunate news guys, my printer kicked the bucket last night. Kinda devastated about it, it's been with me since 2019 to now, been through a lot, that plus everything else going on, kinda feels not great. I'll try rebuilding as best as I can but damn, definitely didn't start today out too great

Built the Exia today! Dust storms gave me a free day, so I decided to build this little goober.

A prosthetic and a rocket engine... I'm still confused on how to layout my resume.

Follow-up post with the gearbox damage. Overall pretty simple failure with a shear along the 2nd stage planet carrier shafts, switching to 3M bolts for the next iteration.

Alright the first test was a partial success! Not bad for a zero revisions, slapped together assembly. It failed about where I expected it to, so I'm redesigning and reprinting them now. (I'll post what the damage looks like in a little bit) #prototype #3dprinting #jetsrcool

Gearbox is saddled into the compressor, excited to test this out! I'll post more about it after I get some footage of it running. Hard to believe the core of this thingy was an old Craftsman drill. #3dprinting #junkyardjetengine #experimenting

Quick follow up, broke in the transmission, greased it up, spins real well now, here's a video of it working!

Life's short, design crappy twin stage planetary gearboxes (Seriously I crapped this thingy out in like 5 minutes it's terrible)

Hi! First post here. Just wanted to show off a rough draft character I made up because I was bored. Let me know what you guys think?
