I am a MAJOR infrastructure nerd. But Sean Duffy announcing the end of federal funding for the CA High Speed Rail is a good thing. This thing is WAY over budget and WAY behind schedule. It needs to be turned over to Brightline, which has shown that it can effectively do projects of this magnitude.

Trump and Musk have ransacked the country and have proposed a lot of cockamamie ideas, but eliminating the penny is something I can get behind. Canada did it in 2012 and their economy didn't collapse. We got rid of the 1/2 cent in 1857, and the penny is worth less today than the 1/2 cent back then.
