While the gospels say that Judas led the Romans to Jesus, a new theory is gaining traction with some Biblical scholars. There is evidence, some say, that Judas merely shared Christ's location on an insecure group chat that accidentally included several Roman officials and journalists.

All of the increasingly bellicose rhetoric from an ever-widening array of admin officials makes it feel like they realize this was not the test case they wanted for this policy and are worried the removal plans and any public support for them could crumble very easily.

Honestly I'm glad they picked Harvard to try out this novel "we're mad" legal theory of revoking tax-exempt status, given its infinite resources, deep network of powerful alumni, and law school attended by 142 sitting federal judges. Good luck! 🫡

Thanks J.D.! Glad you will stand up for freedom Of speech and thought and not follow your leader in using the tools Of government to punish it. After all, You’re a patriot, right?

Visited the WWII Memorial in DC today, and this quote by Truman really felt ironic. What our vets are suffering under this administration is unconscionable. We cannot pay back their debts, correct, but why are we intentionally hurting them now? Where is the gratitude they deserve? #MomSky

Yeah she pretty much nails us. That is the US right now; but we are fighting back.

I put a hold on Ed Martin’s nomination. He’s denied elections. Fired quality public servants. Attempted to chill free speech. Turns out he’s also carrying water for the Kremlin. So wholly unfit to be a U.S. Attorney.

LOL fair enough. Would alien overlords really be a massive downgrade from billionaire overlords? Maybe we should give it a shot. 👽🛸🖖

It has been genuinely moving — moved me to tears, actually — to see so much support for our work at @lawfaremedia.org. Since yesterday, 3 additional donors have agreed to match contributions up to 5K each — thank you @judgeluttig.bsky.social for helping us get there! givebutter.com/journalism/a...

When Rep. Adriano Espaillat began to see reports of Puerto Ricans and other citizens being questioned and arrested by ICE agents, he demanded answers from the Trump administration. That was more than 10 weeks ago. He has not received a response. By @nicolefoy.bsky.social

What's the evidence linking Abrego Garcia to MS-13? This exhaustive @rparloff.bsky.social review finds that the whole thing boils down to a vague, unexamined police statement that he "was confirmed to be a ranking member of the MS-13 gang by a proven and reliable source.” It's shockingly flimsy.

Dan Caldwell is fired from the Pentagon for leaking inconvenient information that threatened to embarrass Donald Trump. Pete Hegseth is *not* fired from the Pentagon for leaking top secret military information that threatened the lives of our pilots overseas. #TrumpPriorities

Didn’t get a chance to post this earlier, but there was a huge turnout in support of Kilmar Abrego Garcia at the federal courthouse. From my seat in the jury room, I heard the supporters outside chanting throughout the hearing.

We've reached the point in our descent into fascism where the Jewish governor's house getting firebombed on Passover by a guy trying to bash his head in with a sledgehammer is overshadowed by the story of the President saying he wants to build foreign gulags for US citizens.

Your carefully worded press release misses the moment and the teeth. That’s why the ratio is real! @schumer.senate.gov , if you’re serious, join Sen. Van Hollen and pull together a Senate delegation to head to El Salvador. Show up or step aside — this isn’t the time for half-measures.

I would not have predicted that large universities would show more courage than either Big Law or corporate media. Good for them.

there’s no reason not to do this. it’d probably end up with another kind of constitutional crisis, which is exactly why it should happen.

It is inconceivable to me that one man has the power to disappear you from America because he doesn’t like what you said. Unconscionable and the Court is demurring from challenging this on technicality. What have we become?

The ruling, which allows Trump to send Venezuelans to a Salvadoran mega-prison, is a significant win for the administration. It prompted strong dissents from both Justices Sotomayor and Jackson. “Make no mistake, we are just as wrong now as we have been in the past."

“We’ve done our part … and we’ve sent the request to the president—that’s all we can do,” Eric Bullard of the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said. “If and when we do get a federal declaration, we would encourage everyone to go ahead and apply for federal assistance.” buff.ly/Z3lAolV
