1/? While chromosomes are present at conception, sex organs AREN’T. Both ovaries & testes are gonads. Reproductive structures don’t differentiate until the 7th week, when the chromosomes come in to play. You can’t tell on a sonogram until between 10-12 weeks, when the outer sexual organs develop.
