My definition of woman does not, and never will, exclude trans women. The UK Supreme Court just granted a swathe of vile old white women (and others) permission to drop the pretense and just outright discriminate against a subsection of women who have been betrayed by this moment. This is a sad day.

The Warhammer DLC for PowerWash Simulator can eat not one, but two bags of dicks. The fact you don't give us the triple nozzle is just not cool. 😩 But with that DLC run through a second time (Prev. Xbox, now Steam) I am absolutely never powerwashing a giant Warhammer vehicle ever again.

The biggest takeaway from this year in gaming is that men need better role models, mentors, conversations and world view. I really do think we are hitting DEFCON 1 levels of toxicity in the online space and it needs addressing in a real way.

This year is the first year for ages I've felt TGA struck a very palatable balance between the announcements, the awards and the ads. I still wish more awards got full spots (Games for Impact and Accessibility in the pre-show feels disrespectful). I get breezing over the genre-specifics though.

I'd like to see #TheGameAwards prioritise full retail releases for new game releases/IPs/titles only because I feel like we need some way to encourage development of new titles, rather than being eligible to win Best Narrative with a narrative two decades old, or win Game of the Year with DLC.

Finishing Dragon Age: Inquisition for the first time last night and moving straight on to Dragon Age: The Veilguard has me feeling very conflicted as a long-time fan of the series (Inquisition came out at a bad/busy time for me). Although, I do still love what they did with this opening 'trilogy'.

I booked this week off expecting to use it to play Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Bug I needed October to finish Dragon Age: Inquisition, sat on my pile of shame for too long having never beat it. I have spent this week playing Inquisition. I have failed myself. On the plus side, I did just bone Dorian.
