People do not really respect excellence, they dream of it for themselves but are unwilling to put in the work and when their desires are unfulfilled because they are lazy, they get angry at those that do the work. Basic maga psychology

It is so infuriating that we are fucking it up for no reason

I play with the dads of 3 of the top women in the USA. Two just won the NCAA and the other is at the best prep school. I also went to HS in the 80s with Tom Barasso and 3 other NHLers. These girls are better than they were at their best. Kids these days are absurdly superhuman

One of the most absurd things Americans do all the time is say this or that player "sucks" I am an old hockey player/coach. 56 I can still hang with a good 14 year old like my son. In 6 months I will be toast. i played with the next women's USA Olympic goalie. She held her own. She was also 13

When I am coaching, I tell people all the time. Stop trying to beat me. That is not the point. The point is you are paying me to help you improve your life. If a person needs to beat me to improve their life, they are in grave danger because it won't happen This constant competition kills

In all parts of American life, they cannot understand statistical distributions and how they manifest. I am pro, I get paid to play sports. Top 5% in multiple sports. I have Zero chance of competing with top 1% and 95% zero with me. The same thing is akin to income. Top 10 or 5 is wealthy, but Musk

There are no news articles about all of the places, school systems and communities that are quietly weathering the illnesses. It's doubled edged. Hey look at this nice normal place isn't a good story for them but at same time such a story makes them a target. /

My wife and I have this conversation all the time. There is a lot to like about Pittsburgh and we make the best of it but Trump has made it worse like most places. Some places are more immune than others and we are getting kids and then us out and to the safest places we can. 1/

I don't worry about my daughter on the field at all. I can treat muscle and joint injuries. The psychological and sexual trauma risk by coaches and trainers is far more dangerous

Not that any of this is rational but girls/women sports are completely dominated by men. They are not on the Field, floor or Ice but they are in every locker room, training facility and admin departments of every single organization in the country

I spent many years working with neurodivergent and behaviorally challenged children. Numerous parents sent their kids to these sketchy little private schools.with zero people with professional backgrounds. Every case was a disaster in one way or another. But they had Jesus, so, their kids suffered

If J wants to stay he is going to have to shoot a few puppies and the Chevy Chase dog parks like the rest of the administration

The best thing about America, without question is our history of intellectual growth and our education system. Watching these stupid deranged fuckers attack our schools and ultimately our kids is the most unamerican behavior possible

It's not nothing and when done with radiological guidance instead of random injection it can work better. A lot of interventions only work 1/2 or less, doesn't mean it's a placebo. It is being done at every major sports med department. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...

I don't think you can call PRP injections a scam. Questionable, but it is a legitimate treatment that does work for some.

They are so illogical. We want our kids to be the smartest and go to the best schools, pretend they are bastions of liberal thought..... And the worst people also graduated from Yale Then we say they are stupid No stupid people go to Yale (except a few legacies) Pathological yes, not dumb

The piece gives one example. Do legitimate care facilities try to regularly enforce this?
