I've been a history and civics teacher for 33 years. NCLB mandated that we teach the state standards, and in red states like mine, they avoid real history as much as they can. When we try and teach what really happened the pushback from admin and some parents costs us our careers. this is 🎯

My partner who works for the VA said that the long term stay patients and the nursing home patients did not receive their mail in ballots even after applying for them. I, myself, had problems receiving my ballot. I had to go to the courthouse because it never showed up.

When I hear people say that Walmarts are only in rural areas I get confused. My city is now the 5th largest in PA (used to be 3rd before all of the factories closed) and it has 4 Walmarts. We also have a Target and Sam's but no Costco☹️. Boycotting here takes EFFORT.
