Botcon 2005 Ratchet and Ironhide and Energon Towline. I thought this mold was crap when I saw it in catalogues in 2005; in practice it’s so charmingly fun that I’ve come to really love it ever since I got Ironhide in 2009. Ratchet and Flareup were grails I finally got a year or two back.

Super rainy day so here’s stuff I got last weekend. Scattorshot’s complete aside from papers; quite unique on its own. The Grimlock packaging is one step closer to having a full Landfill set. It and the Thrust packaging were conveniently cheap.

Energon Ironhide, Jetfire, and Cliffjumper. Wanted to share pics of them before I rebox. Jetfire’s a weaker toy but I do enjoy all three; chunky cars are definitely missed in newer lines.

Hasbro Nemesis Prime and the Dark Saber and the Takara Magnawing. The Linkage comics I believe use it exclusively as a plane but I figure it’s the closest thing to a “Darkboom shield” we have plus the team hunting minicons makes this feel right.

Needed a space to dump TF toy pics especially since I’m reboxing some. Here’s FunPub and ER Lifeline. Love the old mold way more but I do appreciate the difference in color on ER and the altmode paint layout. Hoping to get Superlink Ariel Paradron someday too.
