No, so...do what you like.

When I applied for my exam, @rcoanews.bsky.social included Lord, Lady, Reverend and Brigadier General. Not that strange given there are anaesthetists in military except there were no other ranks. Are you automatically a Brigadier General if you're a military anaesthetist?

There is precious little evidence humiliation works. It doesn't fit with what (and this is semi-evidence based, semi-opinion) the science tells us about how we process information. We have a limited capacity to process information; our working memory can only deal with so much cognitive load. 1/4

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

I've decided to host a Xmas assembly for Sunday Assembly Sheffield (despitr being not at all Christmassy) where I'll play and sing quite a lot of Christmas songs, meaning I'll need to practise. As such, I suspect my neighbours will be wondering why I'm singing "Winter Wonderland" in August.

I decided a photo of me speaking at my wedding was getting a little old so I've replaced it with a photo of me speaking at a wedding.

Your regular reminder that almost everything Trump is getting away with is not because of presidential strength, but because of congressional weakness and judicial deference. The constitutional tools are already there to fix this, but those who can fix it are refusing to do so.

"There's a strange Brokeback Mountain vibe running through the programme and the constant stream of unintentional innuendo doesn't exactly help. Once you've decided that 'hard' is a euphemism for 'erect', it's tricky to keep a straight face." youtu.be/BgDoPvr3VT4?...

I'm 99% sure I have a podcast even though I have never recorded one.

EUROS! EUROS! GET YOUR EUROS! GET 'EM WHILST THEY'RE HOT!

I think we're past orthopaedic height, past neurosurgical height and straight on to "death by misadventure" height.

Betting these guys sell a *lot* of diaries now. www.bluesky.com

Reading an interview with Noah Wyle (Carter, ER) where he says many American doctors say he inspired them to be a doctor. You watched ER and you were inspired to be a doctor? Did we watch the same series?

Big tech: "we're not keen on the regulation the EU are proposing." *looks at US*:
