Ayy, we've finally got a Zoom plugin for Streamdeck! marketplace.elgato.com/product/zoom...

Just another reminder that I'm available to hire to help with all your games marketing and communication needs - I can do things like help ensure your social media accounts are managed, that your press releases are impactful, that your game breaks through the noise, and you won't need an apology!

IDK how i'd never seen this disc art before but solid work.

Growing up I often heard "Its complicated, you wouldn't understand" and now that I'm older, I can confidently say that at least 4/5 of the times that happened, the reason was actually bigotry of some kind (most frequently racism).

Another reminder that I'm available to help with all your game marketing and communication needs. I can do things like help make sure your storefronts are staged properly.

FY2024 was the most profitable in history for the video game industry It also saw the most layoff waves, and highest known layoff headcount in recent history. Lets do the math. Who wants to guess where all the money is going?

Armed agents of force employing animals in their activities are knowingly and willingly putting those animals in danger (read: endangering them), which in my opinion is wrong.

okay i hadn't seen THIS key art for Sword of the Sea .... I'm giving it a nod here for a potential nomination when we do our key art of the year roundup. strong central figure, not too busy, but broadly explains the vibe of the game, dramatic colouring. i might make the logo work with it better tho

what do you call this?

why does spiderman need a a motorbike?

I once again ask... Those of you who have never shipped a game - I'm curious what you think it means when in a game's credits you read "special thanks"

has anybody developed an entire videogame out of the expression "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" yet?

alright another interesting bit of key art. this one feels fresh and compelling. im not a fan of how the logo works with it but otherwise i'd say its a contender!

Another key art thats worth mentioning. Solid composition and contrast. Its both full of details but also not too busy, and feels nicely structured.

If you saw any other game key art this year that you think stands out, show me! We should get a mid-year roundup together!

I'd say this one might also be contender for game key-art of the year. some good stuff happening to help it stand out.

I love it when a trailer has a specific shot that just screams "we had a piece of concept art we really wanted to show here"

people doing bad don't exist in isolation. they have partners, families etc. they live amongst you. they are part of society even if their actions go against it's interests. all of those people proximate to them play a role in either supporting or supressing that bad behaviour. passively or actively

If you are a 'solo' game dev, maybe spending on a $200K/minute presentation isn't an ideal marketing approach. I'm available to hire for consultation. I can help with things like discoverability and UA tactics with your limited resources.

We've got one game about having a long tongue. We've got another game about having long arms. I'm assembling a team...

Who would win, years of game development or a hat?

Company: "Hey great news! We've added AI to [product]" Me immediately: <searches "How to disable AI in [product]"> Every time. Someone's just gotta make a whole website that does nothing but consolidate these instructions.

what someone "meant" does matter, but not as much as people doing some bullshit tend to think.
