Are vehicles saferthan in 1921? For whom? Depends on how you count. Vehicles are much safer for the people in them. They have gotten deadly for the people out of them. The number of peopel dying in motor vehicle collisions is essentially the same as in 1921, about 13 per 100,000 people.
