The nature of error matters to #philsci in general. The notion of error IN nature is significant to some accounts in philosophy of biology (e.g. cancers are often understood as MISTAKEN cellular expressions). Showed this to my critical reasoning class. Everyone thought it was very timely and identified with the moderate and how they are attacked for not being dogmatic. Showed it to my data ethics course and everyone attacked the moderate for not having a strong-enough belief in an ideology/cause. 🤷‍♂️
