Trans people account for 1.3% of the population. That is not counting nonbinary people that do not explicitly identify as trans (other surveys put that number at an even greater 2-3%) If there are 52,000 accredited journalists, you'd expect 676 transgender ones. Where are they in our major papers?

Authoritarianism is defined...as an individual’s predisposition toward conformity, obedience and uniformity...we expected that Americans with more authoritarian attitudes would more strongly support state laws that seek to restrict transgender Americans...this is indeed the case.

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.
