I'm a game development enthusiast. I enjoy programming, making 2D art, making 3D art, and playing video games. I particularly enjoy Valve's titles, Undertale, Deltarune, and a bunch of others I couldn't be bothered to list.

Made a teaser for a game a friend and I are working on. Which should be releasing semi-soon.

I'm making a reflection/class system in pure C99 by abusing macros and it's kinda really fun. It also doesn't have horrible syntax either.

Hammer on Linux is amazing, who wouldn't want to have the 3D and 2D views constantly blanking out at random? Still, more functional under Wayland than it was under X11. It's usable under Wayland but X11 - in my experience - just completely garbles the 3D and 2D views, and also freezes.

I've just spent what was probably hours configuring NeoVIm plugins and NeoVIm itself to make it like this. Is this normal?

I've been looking at Odysee as a possible Youtube alternative, however I want to be certain that they're not doing anything shady. One of my friends and I can't figure out how they're making money to keep the platform going. If anyone knows, please tell me.

Pro tip for people trying to make a multiplayer game in Godot with C#: Don't; It just won't work for whatever reason. Maybe I was doing something *slightly* differently between attempts but I got it working so I DON'T CARE.

I'm poking around the official Half-Life SDK in order to figure out creating a custom gfx.wad (The game refuses to boot without it) as I would like to make a standalone game using Xash3D. Couldn't find any way to make qpic files, which apparently nobody on the face of the Earth knows about.

I just managed to setup an incredibly janky toolchain for developing a goldsrc game completely on linux. Technically though it's xash3D but it's pretty much goldsrc.

Godot multiplayer is something I can working, until I try having players dynamically spawn in. Then everything collapses. Does anyone with more Godot knowledge have any advice? #godotengine #multiplayer #pleasehelpImoutofideasonhowtofixthis

Free idea for a game: You are in a driving test, but there are monsters only you can see, and have to avoid without breaking traffic laws. Pretty stupid, but stupid games can be real fun.

A very sane conversation.

I may have redone the entire memory architecture of my logisim CPU, but it's at least 2x cooler, 10x harder to create instructions while working on, and 0.1x as Turing complete as of now. Me making this post is procrastination on finishing the load immediate instructions.

I'm making a CPU in logisim, and words cannot describe how good it felt to get an incredibly simple program to work.

Was trying to find that one visualizer that everybody seems to use for chip-tune music so I could upload a chip-tune song I made here. Found this instead, it's pretty damn neat. www.vitling.xyz/toys/autotra...
