Union strong!

This!

Always appreciate your clarity Pete!

I wrote this little book in January 2017. All the social media algorithms drove it to conservative readers. Boy did they hate it! Once again feeling more and more like our coming future. www.amazon.com/Divisible-Ra...

It’s a step #SenMurkowski, but you still have a lot of ‘splaining to do for your confirmation votes. You’ve made hundreds of millions of stomachs sick. Stop being part of the problem and #resist what you know is wrong.

Sadly our President and his supporters don’t get this. They never have and I’m afraid they never will. The MAGA-verse is a depraved bunch.

Two heroes meet on the tarmac. Inspiration ensues. #Ukraine #istandwithukraine #heroes #trueleaders

Just one teeny-tiny but amazing spark of the magical fire of life on our planet. Let’s fight to protect our planet! #climate #climatechangeisreal #saveourplanet

Nor should they. We’ve long been a more dangerous place to visit than most developed countries because of our insane lack of gun laws. I love America, but Americans have some work to do.

It should also be noted that #Zelenskyy speaks English better than #Trump does.

This!

Swalwell for the win. We have to keep holding a mirror to the spineless sycofants.

For the record, do I think a one-day boycott is going to make much of an economic impact? No. Do I think that a sort of "Baby's First Boycott," performative though it is, might be useful to make some folks aware of the impact of their economic power, and how it might be wielded politically? Maybe.

I stand with Ukraine!

I’m beyond sickened by the performance given by Trump, Vance, and Rubio today. They fail to grasp the situation, lack compassion, and are quite simply jerks of the highest order. Rotten to the core. And none of this is new. I continue to shake my head at my fellow Americans who support(ed) them

Sums it up.

I heart Tina Smith.

NJ GOP Reps Kean, Smith & Van Drew are responsible for 208.5K children on Medicaid in their respective districts. Rep Pallone and we all ask them to reconsider billionaire tax breaks at the expense of Medicaid for our country. Does New Jersey have a heart? #Demvoice1 bsky.app/profile/acti...

The link between how we think about immigration and progressive values is eloquently laid out here. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/24/m...

Veganism is the answer. Save money. Save the planet.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk, with this blitzkrieg, are killing people. All the Republicans in Congress are accomplices. And Trump voters bear responsibility for this, too.

Don’t believe him. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/02/o...

Yup!

A German citizen on Tiktok warns US users about the similarities between Hitler’s rise to power & Trump’s collision with Tiktok, goes viral, then when her prophecy comes true, the video is removed for community guidelines violation. Draw your own conclusions. I grabbed a screen recording. 👇👇

Lessons from the book On Tyranny. Lessons from the book 1984. Lessons from 4 Years ago. None of it is sticking.

Let me get this straight. The densely populated states give more to the federal government and have less federal representation per person. While rural states get more federal money and have greater voting power. Why is middle America so aggrieved again?

“Donald Trump would have been convicted of crimes over his failed attempt to cling to power in 2020 if he had not won the presidential election in 2024, according to the special counsel who investigated him.” www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

The US moral compass has always been askew. But now, I’m afraid, we’ve broke the thing. #nevertrump #resist #findtruenorth

I love my country. But when it comes to Greenland, I’m #teamDenmark

The holidays are very exhausting. And, I’m so grateful for it. All the love, family and community is a blessing to celebrate. So wear me out dear friends I’m thankful for it.

Very funny. The semester is coming to a close. Bring on the eggnog!

A sobering read. www.nytimes.com/2024/12/04/o...

The best communicator in politics.

I ended up seeing Death Becomes Her a second time tonight—a friend had an extra ticket—and guess what? It’s still super fun. (Here’s my original review.) www.timeout.com/newyork/thea...

What a great way to start the day. Beauty is all around us.

Changing up my news diet. Avoiding any platform where someone tells me the news (tv/podcast etc) I’m only reading my news for a while. Slower digestion. More space for contemplation to build my own point view. Building a list and looking for suggestions. Who/what should I be reading. Thanks!

Remember to slow down. Take time to be with the people you love. This is not my advice. This comes from the vast majority of people on their deathbeds. Believe them. Nothing is more valuable than time spent with people you care about. Oh, and care about people. Happy Thanksgiving!

I get the legal reasons for Jack Smith dismissing the Trump interference case. I just wish there was some measure of justice leveled on this humans bad behavior. Elections have consequences and I fear we will pay a very heavy price for this one.

Got my Covid and flu shots yesterday. I’ll call it the #RFKjspecial Science for the win.
