I knew the TikTok ban would backfire, but the extent to which has been wild. Lots of users moved to an actual Chinese app as a form of ironic protest. our beloved neighbor was swearing and drilling holes into the paper thin wall last night like Texas chainsaw massacre and I hid in the bedroom. The other day he told a delivery guy that he had about 2 seconds to gtfo or else (unintelligible). I can't wait to read the book.

This administration is just taking the brakes off these oligarchs, like Zuck, not 'corrupting' them. Any platform, including this one that leaves moderation up to the community, is acting in bad faith and seeking to monetize by fueling hate speech, harassment, and outrage. We need better platforms.
