Nobby looks comfy. #Caturday ##CatsofBluesky #Okiecats

3-27-25 OKC Planning Commission, under 2 hours for a change. Nothing really notable, veterinarian wanted deferral on parking a portable unit, turned down and recommend for disapproval. Probably needed a lawyer, PC doesn't respond to public like other boards. Zoning case on Edmond Road (it's Okc

Okc might be a foodie city but the movers and shakers eat lunch at Taco Bell 23rd&Harvey. Politicians, local celebrities and TV people, who knows what their drive thru has seen. Been eating there for over 30 years ( at least 2 total remodels) while everything around it has changed.

3-26-25 Okc Humans Right Commission Mtg., start out with presentation on Tenant Rights, excellent information over an hour long. Then a resolution to pursue removing language from plats: racial, religious etc. This will need Council approval. This group is trying to find an identity

getting ready for spring! #Purrsday #CatsofBluesky

I'm grumpy and usually don't like feel good stories but Survivor tonight has me getting misty-eyed.

3-25-25, Okc Council meeting a relatively short mtg. that spent almost 90 minutes on the consent docket and more in executive session. The big item was the Red Ridge Nature Preserve PUD, but really it was about the Deep Fork Trail. The PUD isn't really necessary, but the Kirkpatrick Foundation

yesterday was OKC meeting day, 4 and all a little strange 3-25-25 Economic Development Trust, lots of mystery discussion about future, one movie subsidy approved for faith-based feature about kid survivors growing up after the bombing 3-25-25 Water Utilities Trust set a short mtg. record I

60 wins! ThunderUp

3-20-25:OKC Board of Adjustment meeting, short and nothing unusual except they deferred items because they were losing quorum but nobody left, might have been a conflict. This group just seems unhappy or frustrated or bored or something? Next meeting the new AirBnb ordinance

good win OKC! #ThunderUp

Nobby will enjoy #Caturday #CatsofBluesky in the Throne Room

going back over 30 years, the Wheel of Time has been my favorite (only) fantasy series, but I knew the television adaptation would probably suck. A short review: Season One started out with a blood sacrifice and table top spice before going downhill. Trying to add a mystery, horrible continuity

literally just curling up on the couch because it's #Purrsday

3-18-25 Community Public Safety Advisory Board Forum, not meeting for some reason and they really are barely a public meeting at all, they meet, go to private session for a couple of hours then tell you what they did. Since the agenda isn't interactive can't tell what they're talking about

3-17-25 Traffic Commission meeting, not much on the agenda. Discussion of shutting down food trucks in Bricktown so people won't hang out and get in trouble, this will go to Council for probably endless discussions. Discussion about the reverse angle parking, does it work in Tulsa and why,

Book review for fun, just finished The Medici Return by Steve Berry, not sure what this genre is where a historical mystery runs parallel with the present, and the good people must race to solve the past to stop bad people in the present. There are several authors writing series like this,

Happy #Caturday, Nobby loves the Thunder

3-13-25 OKC Planning Commission, short and really uneventful. Car lot on NW 10th finally approved, owner should have hired one of the attorneys and gotten this done weeks ago. A Dollar Store at Sooner and SE 149th doesn't matter to me, we have 2 now close.

It's #Purrsday! He has no idea that it's also trip to the vet day

3-11-25 Water Utilities Trust, interesting presentation on plan to fix Overholser Dam. Lake levels are excellent.

3-11-25, OKC Council mtg., mayor starts off recognizing an award for the Innovation group, I'm not a fan of these vague offices, no clear successes and never any failures. Recognize police wellness, I would not have recognized the former chief, he looks retired! Revenues still dropping,

more meetings, I fall behind when it's nice weather too. 3-6-25, Maps4 advisory board, just updates. Youth center locations sent to Council where controversy will happen. 3-6-25 Board of Adjustment, they're struggling with their role it seems and handling the new sign code. Also not sure

catching up my meetings on a rainy day, 2-5-25 Historic Preservation Commission, couple of recommendations for National Register, Carverdale neighborhood and Perrine Building, currently known as Robinson Renaissance. Both passed on to Council. Other items routine, little old ugly

##Caturday begins with Nobby on my lap

Happy #Purrsday
