We’ve already done a few Great Central Railway wagons for OO gauge to go with the various locomotives from other manufacturers, but what do you think is missing from this picture?

With the lovely Evolution Batch 2 Scottish liveries recently announced, we are sure you are going to want to see the Engineering Prototypes for yourself. Come and see them (and much more) at Model Rail Scotland today. You’ll find us at Stand A15.

A variety of resources keep locomotives running smoothly, including sand. But have you ever wondered where it comes from? Well, the LNER dredged theirs from Yarmouth Vauxhall (now Great Yarmouth) and Lowestoft. It was moved across the network in these striking blue wagons. https://buff.ly/4gMFiOk

Need some coaches to run with your pre-grouping Scottish locos? We’ve got you covered! Caledonian, Highland, and North British liveries all feature in the newly announced Batch 2 of Evolution coaches. Pre-order yours today! https://buff.ly/42REqF2

East Anglia isn’t known for its coal mining industry, so the GER had to source their coal from further afield. Thankfully, they reached an agreement with the Lancashire, Derbyshire and East Coast Railway, gaining running powers to the rich coalfields they served.

Happy custom crews-day! With the recent release of the @rapidotrains.co.uk B set coaches, we are delighted to show you our figures in a coach.

Finally unboxed my custom Rapido wagon! Ordered at the National Festival of Railway Modelling, where I got to design it from scratch. Really happy with how it turned out—such a unique addition to my collection! @rapidotrains.co.uk #OOgauge #ModelRailway

Did you know that many of the 483 Class locos were fitted with scoops that were used for gathering water on the move? Not all of them were though, as the S&DJR had no need for them. We have included both tender versions in the range of upcoming models. Which one has caught your eye?

Greetings humans, picked this lil beauty up last month just after the day of getting older, and honestly @rapidotrains.co.uk as per usual have knocked it way out of the park Also, happened to pick the most different one by accident, just didn't want BR or LNER black :P

The GWR and BR(W) sold many locomotives into industrial service, many of which ended up with the NCB. Alas, no 44xx Prairies, so whilst this colliery loco looks quite smart, it's this month's rejected livery....

Having reviewed the motive power available on shed the Region board did not detain themselves long deciding what to allocate for their Sunday afternoon inspection special. @rapidotrains.co.uk

Painted production samples have arrived for the PO Wagons from Batch 2. Did you know that several of the pre-grouping companies purchased hundreds of wagons of this design before WW1? The War Department also ordered plenty, and these bolstered the fleets of the pre-grouping companies after the war

Over-indulged over the last few weeks? Fear not, the LB&SCR have the perfect wagon for you. Their Weight-testing machine is perfect for those of us who want to know, without judgment, what damage that extra mince pie or two did. https://rapidotrains.co.uk/lbscr-8-ton-goods-van-dia-8/

Following a review of the GER 5-plank wagons, we realised the artwork we had been using for LNER Loco Dept. No.0197 was an older unfinished version, and was missing a key detail. So, we’ve updated it so it now has the additional restricted movement markings. Hopefully, you like the change we’ve made

Take a look at our YouTube channel to see some of the upcoming 'Evolution' coach samples trundling around our test track! Orderbooks for batch 1 will close on 20th Jan so get yours in now.

This fictitious ex-LBSC van looks nice but really it's going No Where, so it's this month's rejected livery!

Didn't get a chance to share a picture of the model of the Jones Goods. She's a lovely model and runs really great, I've had her run on my clubs layout but forgot to film it. Well done to @rapidotrains.co.uk
