I am headed downtown. Not for the Super Bowl. I’m going to the Auschwitz exhibit. There will be reflection. There will be lots of tears. Of note, it’s only been 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz. May all the victims of Nazi persecution be honored and remembered. NEVER forget. NEVER again.

Lady says she didn’t agree with statues taken down during BLM protests. I say statues are for honorable people, not those involved in slavery. She says it’s removing history. I say history is still in books and should be taught as in slavery was wrong. She repeats & adds 1/

This week I was offered a volunteer role to help train dogs once per week with the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. I’m so excited. Dogs are amazing and help make these peoples’ lives better. I cannot wait to see the first dog I had a part in training assigned to someone in need. 🥰

I’m an avid reader of all things WW2 with a focus on Naziism, and the Holocaust with 270 books of this genre in my home library. I also read a lot of True Crime. If I read fiction, it’s always historical fiction. This is the book I have just started:
