I have a lot of thoughts today because I’ve been reading fanfic instead of working. But one thing I LOVE about fanfic is something can have bad spelling/grammar/editing but can still be so compelling and funny and make you cry and that’s so nice. Drabble is strictly 100 words. Ficlet is typically over 100 words and less than 1000. I rarely see “double drabble” being used but that’s 200 words. Most of what I see are by definition ficlets. I’m probably showing my age here but I’m a stickler for using the correct terms for reading lengths
